The Galatea Queens’ Club held its luncheon recently to welcome its newest member, Queen Galatea LIII Mrs. Jeff Beattie. In attendance were, front row from left are Mmes. The women’s Krewe of Galatea presented Queen and King Galatea LIII Mrs. George Beattie and Lee Dragna during its tableau held Saturday at the Morgan City Municipal Auditorium.

Queen and King of Galatea LI Mrs. Kenneth C. Cefalu and Bryan Belle will make a farewell appearance Saturday when the woman’s krewe presents its tableau at 7:50 p.m. at the Morgan City Municipal Auditorium. This is an invitation-only event. Members of the krewe will present a Mardi Gras parade at 2 p.m. Feb. 27 in Morgan City.
