MCHS baseball sweeps Ellender

Morgan City High School swept its three District 7-4A contests with Ellender this weekend.

The Morgan City High School Lady Tiger bowling team qualified for its second consecutive Final Four after finishing 2-0 at the state's Western Bi-Regional Monday at Creole Lanes in Houma. Morgan City, the event's top seed, knocked off No. 9 H.L. Bourgeois and No. 5 Ellender. The Lady Tigers will play again April 7 at 11 a.m. against an opponent from the state's Eastern Bi-Regional, which will be played today in Baton Rouge. Morgan City shuts out South Terrebonne, 7-0

Morgan City scored all of its runs in two innings and held South Terrebonne scoreless and to just two hits in 7-0 victory in a key District 7-4A contest in Morgan City Monday.
