92 new COVID cases, one death reported over the weekend in St. Mary

Ninety-two new COVID-19 cases and one death were reported in St. Mary between midday Friday and midday Monday by the Louisiana Office of Public Health.
The pandemic case count for St. Mary is now at 11,100, and 241 deaths have been reported here since COVID-19 emerged in late winter 2020.
Statewide, 18,683 new cases were reported Monday along with 51 deaths.
The number of COVID-positive people in Louisiana hospitals Monday was at 2,127, down 180 from Friday. The number of people on ventilators was up by four to 146.
