Allied Frozen Foods

Restaurant-quality food at wholesale prices fills the freezers of Allied Food Service on Highway 27 North.

The business sells most of its bulk-packaged food to restaurants, schools and convenience stores, but individuals are also welcome by the store.

The business is at 27 Selman Road, off Highway 27 North past King’s Inn, and its hours are 7 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Monday through Friday.

Chupp said you can buy anything there you would order at a restaurant. Almost all the items, such as chicken tenders, bacon, cheese, seasonings, vegetables and steaks, are sold in bulk.

“Some of our best sellers are our five-pound trays of barbecue and gallon jugs of Brunswick Stew,” said Co-Owner Donny Chupp. He operates the store with Bill Turner.

Their prices are competitive to those of most bargain stores, Chupp said. They take cash, credit cards and EBT cards. They do not take checks.
