The remaining winners in Hanson Memorial High School’s “Battle of the Paddles” gumbo cook off were, from top, the Roux Brothers, second place, members Butch Bourgeois, Tommy Mire, David Theriot, Herman LeBourgeois and Janice LeBourgeois; and in third place Visions of Roux, members Larry, Robbie and Rachel LeBlanc, Alida Dwyer and Kathleen and David Lavallee. In the seafood gumbo contest, second place was Roux Dat Cher, members Marc Kuhlman, Steven Baudoin, Rhett Candela and Jamie Robinson; and third place the Meat Slingers, members Billy Adams, Joan Adams, Jody Adams, Jacob and Jennifer Adams and Mark Patout. And in jambalaya, second place went to Roux Dat Cher (previously pictured above), and third place to Sheriff Mark Hebert, Lance St. Blanc, Lon St. Blanc and Vincent St. Blanc.
