‘Business After Hours’ kicks off Harvest Moon

A St. Mary Parish Chamber of Commerce Business After Hours is set Thursday to kick off the Franklin Harvest Moon Festival.

The chamber event is at 6 p.m. at the Comfort Inn in Franklin. The festival is Saturday in downtown Franklin.

Sponsors for this event are Dugas Oil; A Little Taste of Heaven; Cabot Corp.; Bayou Tractor; Centerville Market; Columbian Chemicals; Buquet Distributing; First Franklin Financial in Morgan City and Franklin; Thomson, Smith and Leach Insurance; North American Salt; First National Bank of Jeanerette; Franklin Foundation Hospital and Hanagriff’s Machine Shop.

There will be music by DJ “Fab” and catering by Annie Mae’s Restaurant.

Entry fee is $1 and a business card with a chance to win door prizes including gift certificates for Loco’s and Cafe Bayou at Cypress Bayou Casino, Argus Health, Merle Norman, Fad News Stand, Meyer’s Shoe Store and Comfort Inn.
