‘I Ought to Be in Pictures’ opens Friday

Ricky Pellerin, Alaina Pierce and Denise Galatas, background, rehearse a scene from “I Ought to Be in Pictures,” set to open on the Teche Theatre stage Friday. The Neil Simon comedy-drama tells the story of Libby (Pierce) and her attempt to reconnect with her estranged father Herb (Pellerin), a Hollywood screenwriter. Show times are 7:30 p.m. on Friday, Saturday, Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday, Nov. 16. Tickets will be on sale at the box office beginning at 6:30 p.m. on performance days.
