The event will be held in Pecot Park in the Talbot and Eagle streets neighborhood from 6 p.m. until 8 p.m.
The residents of Franklin and the Pecot Park neighborhood will partner with local law enforcement agencies and emergency responders to showcase the importance of police-community partnerships and citizen involvement in the fight to build a safer community.
The event will feature games for kids of all ages, music and refreshments. The public is invited to attend to send a message to criminals that the community is organized and fighting back.
