Two local squads have moved up in the latest unofficial Louisiana High School Athletic Association power rankings released Tuesday, while the other two have fallen.

Both Patterson and Central Catholic have moved upward since the last rankings were released in late September.

Patterson has risen from 52nd to 48th, while Central Catholic has moved up from 21st to 17th. Patterson (3-3) has a power rating of 8.84, while CCHS (3-3) has a power rating of 12.44.

While Patterson and Cen-tral Catholic faired better than the last rankings, both Morgan City and Berwick have fallen in the rankings, with Morgan City taking the bigger of the falls. The Tigers (4-1) fell from 25th to 37th. They have a power rating of 9.80.

Berwick (0-5) fell one spot from 56th to 57th. They currently have a power rating of 6.67.

Neville (6-0) tops Class 4A’s rankings with a 16.28 power rating, while Parkview Baptist (5-0) is tops in Class 3A with a 16.40 power rating.

In Class 1A, Covenant Christian (2-0) has the top billing with a 17.67 power rating.
