According to Acadia Parish Sheriff Wayne Melancon, the arrest stems from a June 11th incident in which Wheeler is alleged to have had sex with a 12-year-old juvenile.
Wheeler was placed in the Acadia Parish Jail with bond set at $350,000 by District Judge Kristian Earles. Crowley Police Department assisted with the arrest.
