Gregory Paul Harris, 32, 301 Railroad Ave., Baldwin, was arrested at 1 p.m. Tuesday at the St. Mary Parish Law Enforcement Center in Centerville on warrants for possession of a firearm in the presence of CDS, possession of cocaine with intent to distribute, and failure to appear on the charges of failure to report an accident and driving under suspension.

Sheriff Mark Hebert said they “turned themselves in as a direct result of collaboration between the St. Mary Parish Sheriff’s Office Narcotics Division and the local newspaper publication The Daily Review. The Harris’ photos and warrants were featured in a ‘Most Wanted’ story on Friday, Sept. 28, 2012.”
“The information that we receive from the general public actually leads to a lot of arrests,” Hebert said.
