ELEVEN 4-H MEMBERS from St. Mary Parish competed at the Annual Area Commodity Cookery Contest held Thursday, April 26 in Houma. These 4-H members qualified for this contest by placing first in their category at the parish cookery contest held during the Harvest Moon Festival in October of 2010. Contestants participated in a Consumer Education Scavenger Hunt while the judges tried the 4-H’ers dishes.
