Myers is survived by two daughters, Crystal Grippo of Ponchatoula and Lisa Kitchens of Midland, Texas; one son, James Myers of Amelia; 10 grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; four brothers, Ernest Jr., David, Jackie and Lonnie; four sisters, Mercedes, Louise, Debbie and Donna; and a host of nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his wife, his parents and three brothers.
There will be a private service and burial at a later date.
