Alton Diggs, 62, a native and resident of Houma, died Thursday, August 9, 2012 at Chateau Terrebonne Healthcare at 9:49 p.m.

Burial will be Tuesday, September 19, at 11 a.m., at Southdown Cemetery.

Alton leaves to cherish his memories his wife, Pamela D. Diggs of Houma; three sons, Alton Quintel (Raven) Diggs, Cody (Adriana) Diggs, and Tremayne Diggs, all of Houma; four brothers, Nathaniel Diggs III, Elwood Diggs, Charles (Wanda) Diggs and Michael Diggs, all of Houma; two sisters, Mrs. Ervin (Alma) Thomas and Willie Mae Rice, all of Houma; three grandchildren; and a host of relatives and friends.
