Mark Adams of Franklin and Ellen Ibert of Anacoco, Louisiana are pleased to announce the engagement and forthcoming marriage of their daughter, Emily Sara Adams to Brandt James Broussard, son of M. Garrett Broussard and Susan Laughlin of Lafayette. The couple will exchange vows on Saturday, October at L’Eglise in Abbeville.

The bride-elect is a 2000 graduate of West St. Mary High School and has earned her bachelor’s degree in fashion design from the University of Louisiana at Lafayette. She is currently employed at Coco Eros’ as a sale representative and free-lance designer.

The prospective groom is a 1997 graduate of Acadiana High School and a 2003 graduate of the University of Louisiana at Lafayette. He is a local business owner and entrepreneur.

Following the wedding the couple will reside in Lafayette.
