The first local ball of the season was held Saturday when the Krewe of Adonis presented King and Queen Adonis XXXVII Reggy Torgrimson and Camille Izaguirre as its new royalty. Theme for the event was “Adonis Undersea Adventures.” The krewe will present the area’s only nighttime parade on Feb. 17 at 7 p.m. in Morgan City.
