For many years the shrimp boat has been a part of the tradition and history of Morgan City. These traditions have been passed down from one generation to the next. For many these traditions run through the soul like the water runs through the river. Several shrimp boats are docked in the Atchafalaya River while fishermen work on getting their boats ready for the next season.
