DIANNA TILLMAN ALEXANDER was recently presented the 2011-2012 Dixie Ritchie Ladies Auxiliary VFW Outstanding Community Service Volunteer Award during the 81st Annual VFW Convention held in Alexandria. This honor is given to the individual who gives unselfishly of her time to help others. Alexander altruistically provides services to community organizations, area organizations, her sorority, the citizens of Franklin and her family. Through her volunteer efforts, her primary goal is to alleviate suffering and bring comfort to those who need a helping hand. She has an extensive list of volunteer services. She credits this honor to her husband, Albert A. Alexander and her many friends and supporters.
