Alleged bank robber climbs across razor wire, escapes

PINE PRAIRIE – Alleged bank robber Brian Keith Soileau remains at large after escaping from the state correctional facility here.

He was arrested for allegedly robbing Citizens Bank in Pine Prairie August 3.

Soileau allegedly injured himself on razor wire while climbing over a fence at the facility. K-9 units were called in from Eunice and Port Barre to help track and find Soileau.

The Evangeline Parish Sheriff’s Office, with the assistance of Louisiana State Police and the U.S. Marshals are currently searching for Soileau and questioning persons of interest regarding Soileau’s whereabouts.

If anyone has information regarding Soileau’s location, contact the sheriff’s office at 363-2161.
