Annie Johnson, 60, a native of Gibson and resident of Houma, died Wednesday at Terrebonne General Hospital in Houma at 11:05 a.m.

Visitation will be Friday at St. James Baptist Church, 6319 South Bayou Black, Gibson, from 9 a.m. until the funeral service at 11 a.m. Burial will be in the St. James Cemetery in Gibson.

Survivors include her husband, Don Jerome Johnson of Houma; her mother, Lorenia Johnson Hanzy of Gibson; one son, Bryant James Johnson and a grandson, both of Houma; four brothers, Elijah Hanzy Jr. and Lionel Hanzy Sr., both of Gibson, Nathan Hanzy of Gray, and Claudel Hanzy of Thibodaux; two sisters, Louise Joseph and Orelia Turner, both of Gibson; a brother-in-law; a father-in-law; and a host of relatives and friends.

Annie was preceded in death by her father, two brothers and a sister.
