Annie Mae Skipper, 84, a native and resident of Morgan City, died Tuesday, Feb. 14 at 7:55 a.m. at her residence.

Visitation will be Saturday at Lee Chapel AME Church from 10 a.m. until funeral service at 1 p.m. Burial will be in the Morgan City Cemetery.

Survivors include one son she reared, Mark Griffin; four sons, Samuel Skipper Jr. of Houma, Raymond Lyn Skipper of Maryland, Joseph Godfrey Skipper of Seattle, and Walter Skipper of Patterson; seven daughters, Odessa Skipper Frank, Sandra Ruth Batiste, Elnora Yvette Reyes and Wyonia Burrell, all of Morgan City, Leona Dixon of LaPlace, Windey Skipper of Houston and Antoinette Schmidt of Norfolk, Va.; one brother, Raymond Lynn Morrison of Morgan City; one sister, Rita Mae Williams of Petersburg, Va.; 32 grandchildren, 63 great-grandchildren and a host of relatives and friends.

Jones Funeral Home of Morgan City is in charge of arrangements.
