Ms. Keona Monique Armelin of Charenton and Mr. Derrick Paul Coleman of St. Joseph wish to announce their engagement and forthcoming marriage.

The bride-elect is the daughter of the late Mr. Harold Armelin and the late Mrs. Rose Larry Armelin. She is a graduate of Franklin Senior High School and the University of Louisiana at Lafayette. She is currently employed by the Department of Children and Family Services in Lafayette.

The prospective groom is the son of Ms. Willie Joyce Knight and the late Mr. Wash Taylor Coleman. He is a graduate of Franklin Senior High School, Louisiana Technical College and Southern University. He is currently employed as an instrument analyzer technician with Exxon Mobil in Baton Rouge.

The wedding ceremony will be officiated on Saturday, September 3 at 4 p.m. at Mt. Pleasant Baptist Church in Charenton.
