Franklin’s second Art Walk was held Saturday along historic downtown Main Street. Local artists and others from outside the Franklin area attended and set up their works at businesses along the boulevard. The event had been scheduled in August, but was postponed due to inclement weather, and was rescheduled to coincide with Tour du Teche III. Some of the homegrown artists featured were Francis Todd at his gallery on Willow Street, Caroline Simoneaux at Meyer’s Shoe Store, Laura Zuniga at Merle Norman and a bonus bit of downhome entertainment from Pat Brown and Steve Schmidt at the Lamp Post during Techeland Arts Council’s arts gathering.
