As a victim of Domestic Violence, in the state of Louisana, specifically St. Mary Parish, I wonder had this woman ever "cried out" and said I am being "hurt"? My guess would be a resounding yes! The common census in LA is that a woman is "crazy",which she is not, in most cases. Men hurt women in the state of Louisiana more that any other state of our great nation. My experience has been through the courts that pronouce judgment. Judge Stansbury,a city court judge, in Morgan City,La, pronounces judgement on his own personal beliefs. I have stood in his court, more than once, and I know he will always take a stand for the man in this issue. As a woman and survior of DV, I am happy to say, that what a judge judges, is not what it really is. My life continues on today, without a man’s hand that bruises my face, breaks my ear drums, and/or hurts any other part of my body. That is what is a survivor is about.. Carrying On!
