Maison Jardin has been her home for the last two years, which offered her great joy and comfort. The family would like to extend their appreciation and thanks to her lovely sitters Mary, Lisa and Helen; and to the wonderful staff at Teche Regional Medical Center.
Audrey was an avid lover of life, laughter, music and dancing. She was a devoted wife and mother. She was a perfect grandmother and loved all her grandchildren. She was the kindest and most patient person, never having an unkind word to say about anyone. If God had a model person on Earth, it would have been her. She was loved by all that came in contact with her, and she will be deeply missed.
She is survived by two sons, Murphy M. Arcemont Jr. and wife Bridget of Morgan City and Michael E. Arcemont and wife Pat of Lafayette; one daughter, Patricia Arcemont Stansbury and husband Kim of Morgan City; 10 grandchildren, 16 great-grandchildren, and 14 great-great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Murphy Arcemont Sr.; one daughter, Jean Audrey Dugas; her mother and father, Ernest and Elvita Suarez; two sisters, Mae Lynn Shannon and Ruth Bienvenu; one brother, Aubrey Suarez; two grandchildren, Jamie Lynn Stansbury and Ricky Dugas; and one great-great-grandchild, Brooke LaCombe.
