Betty Kelly Maze, 69, a resident of Verdunville and native of New Orleans, died Sunday, February 12, 2012, at 2:35 p.m., at Franklin Foundation Hospital.
Visitation will be Saturday, February 18, 2012 at Nazarene Baptist Church, 7416 Hwy. 182, Verdunville, from 10 a.m. until funeral service at 1 p.m.
Delta Sigma Sorority will have a dedication at 12 p.m., prior to service at 1 p.m. Burial will follow in the church cemetery.
Betty leaves to cherish her memory two daughters, Mrs. Shawn (Fleshanne E. Maze) Guidry of Patterson and Jalena T. Kelly of Verdunville; three brothers, Jerry (Sibylle) Lawson of Nurmburg, Germany, Jeffery Elijah and Walter Nelson Collins, both of Charenton; two sisters, Mrs. U.S. (May) Davidson of Acworth, Georgia and Rosalie Woods of Thibodaux; two grandchildren; and a host of relatives and friends.
