Betty Kenny, 59, a resident of Houma and a native of New Orleans, died Saturday, September 15, 2012, at 10:20 a.m., at her residence.

Betty was a member of Christ Missionary Baptist Church

Visitation will be Saturday, September 22, at Christ Missionary Baptist Church in Houma, from 10 a.m. until funeral service at 1:30 p.m. Burial will follow in the church cemetery.

Betty leaves to cherish her memories two sons, Micheal Kenny and Aronderick Washington; two daughters, Tarra Mcguire and Tracey Kenny; four brothers, Micheal Smith, Ricky Smith, Larry Smith and Grerory Smith; six sisters, Bessie Clark, Brenda Washington, Rosemary Castle, Linda Brumfield, Gail Smith and Darlene Smith, all of Houma; 15 grandchildren; and a host of relatives and friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents, two brothers and a sister.
