BVGC donates books in honor of NGW

IN SUPPORT OF National Garden Week, June 3-9, Bayou Vista Garden Club donated two books to Bayou Vista Branch Library. The books presented were “Adventures in Wild Flowers: The Timeless Wirings of Caroline Dormon” and the Louisiana Garden Club Federation Native Plants List Handbook. NGW, sponsored by National Garden Clubs, is a special week designed to focus public attention on the programs, projects and ac3tivities promoted by garden clubs. BVGC brochures are available at the library for anyone interested in club membership.
