There are so many ways to describe the type of person that Barbara was. She was a loving mother, wife, teacher and friend. She loved her children with all her heart and that love also extended to all those around her. Barbara was an amazingly strong woman who always thought of others and very little of herself. She loved working in flower gardens, both at home and at church, and, once she was sick, she continued to help out in any way she could.
Barbara also was a Sunday school teacher at church for years and continued to interact and play with all of the kids even after she was unable to teach. We all have been touched by Barbara’s huge heart and generous soul; she will live on in our memories and our hearts forever. The opportunity to have her in our lives is a precious gift that we will forever be thankful for.
