Bayou Vista Garden Club holds holiday meeting

Bayou Vista Garden Club members gathered Dec. 6 at Atchafalaya Golf Course at Idlewild’s Club House to celebrate the holiday season. A special donation was collected for the Louisiana Garden Club Federation National Disaster Fund. The funds will be presented to the New Jersey State Garden Club to assist with restoration following Hurricane Sandy. The first club meeting of 2013 will be at 6:30 p.m. Jan. 14 at the Bayou Vista Community Center. Anyone interested in becoming a member is welcomed to attend.
