The Berwick Bombers 12AAA baseball team won the 12U open division at the USSSA Cypress Mounds Spooktacular in late October. The Bombers finished the weekend with a 5-0 mark. In pool play, the Bombers defeated Orange Crush from McComb, Miss., 18-5, and the Stix from Central, 11-8. In Sunday’s bracket play, the Bombers defeated LA Lightning from Harahan, 16-4, Stix, 9-2 and the Covington Angels, 15-3.
