BERWICK — Berwick High took Catholic High of New Iberia to four sets, but ultimately the visitors from Iberia Parish prevailed, 19-25, 18-25, 25-19, 23-25.

Elizabeth Hover and Abigail Ohlin led Berwick in the loss. Hover recorded five kills and blocks apiece, eight assists and three aces, while Ohlin added two kills and assists apiece, an ace and 15 digs.

Other Lady Panther contributors included Diana Grace Guarisco, three kills, two aces and 14 digs; Elle Arcemont, five kills and a dig and block apiece; Rebecca Richard, two kills, seven assists, an ace and seven digs; and Abigail Askew, three kills, an ace and dig apiece and seven kills.

Berwick will return to action Wednesday when it travels to Morgan City to take on Morgan City High in the Lady Tigers’ “Paint the Pit Pink” game.
