On Thursday at 7 a.m., officers arrested them at the facility and charged them with criminal mischief and criminal damage to property after they were caught in the act at the facility.
Richard said during the incidents, they would climb through the hole where the paneling was kicked in.
However, he said nothing was taken.
Richard said the panels were able to be repositioned, but they were dented.
“They are banged up a lot,” Richard said.
The juveniles have been released to their parents pending juvenile court action.
In other local police news, more information is available on a Patterson man who was arrested Monday and charged with aggravated forcible rape and molestation of a juvenile.
Patterson Assistant Police Chief Gary Stevenson said this morning that William Baytop, 63, of Catherine Street, had allegedly engaged in inappropriate activity off and on with an 11-year-old female, who was his godchild, when she went to his home.
Stevenson said police were notified after the juvenile reported the incidents to her parents, which allegedly had been going on for two years.
Since his arrest, Baytop has been transferred to the Parish Jail where he remains this morning with bond set at $150,000.
