Berwick, Franklin junior highs win at jamboree Saturday

JUNIOR HIGH FOOTBALL TEAMS from Berwick, Patterson,
Central Catholic and Franklin participated in a junior high jamboree
Saturday at Patterson High School. Berwick picked up an
8-6 victory against Central Catholic in the abbreviated game,
while Franklin shut out Patterson, 8-0, in the second matchup.
Patterson Junior High football coach Ryan Smith, who put on
the event, said it was the first time in recent years the event was
held. He said in future years he would like the event to be
expanded to include all parish schools. In the top photo,
