MORGAN CITY — A Morgan City dentist recently attended The Pankey Institute in Key Biscayne, Fla., where she studied advances in dentistry.

Dr. Jane Birriel attended the four-day course where she enhanced her skills related to complex cases involving precise sequencing and interdisciplinary coordination.

Her patients will benefit from her ability to provide comprehensive treatment involving the skills of the periodontist and orthodontist in complex restorative cases.

At her Morgan City practice, Birriel focuses on general dentistry.

She graduated from the University of Missouri at Kansas City School of Dentistry in 1989.
