Black History event at Broussard-Harris

Professional Athletes Supporting Students will present “Changing the Future by Cultivating the Mind: A Celebration of Black History and Culture” this weekend.

Set for Friday and Saturday from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. at Broussard-Harris Recreational Center attendees will experience the Traveling Black Inventions Museum.

There will be a 30-minute presentation for students from fourth grade to 10th grade. Teachers and parents of younger students can take part in a walking tour which lasts about 20 minutes.
