Berwick Fire Department had a concrete slab poured recently to begin the project of building a new training facility. Framing work has begun and the project is expected to be completed in the next couple of weeks. Construction is being handled by a longtime member of the fire department and his son. The new building is being completely funded with money raised by volunteers.
