Bond was set Monday for three Opelousas men charged with sex offenses involving two 14-year-girls in Eunice.

Judge Ellis Daigle set bond at $66,500 for the trio arrested Friday, June 24, after police responded to reports of activity in the area of the old swimming pool building near Northwest Community Center.

Officers found the girls and the men walking from the building. Investigation, police said, revealed inappropriate relations between the girls and two of the males, Coby Thomas and Devante Deville.

The third suspect, John Manuel, was serving as a lookout during the crimes, police said.

Charges filed are:

Deville, 18, two counts carnal knowledge of a juvenile, two counts contributing to delinquency, misrepresentation during booking;

Thomas, two counts carnal knowledge, two counts contributing;

Manuel, two counts principal to carnal knowledge, two counts contributing and misrepresentation during booking.

The children were released to their parents.
