The St. Mary Chamber of Commerce and Franklin Republican Women will co-host a “Meet the Congressional Candidates Breakfast” with Congressmen Charles Boustany and Jeff Landry.

The breakfast is set for Wednesday, Aug. 22 at the Forest Restaurant in Franklin from 7:30 a.m. to 9:00 a.m.

Freshman GOP Rep. Jeff Landry will face off with four-term Republican Rep. Charles Boustany in Louisiana’s newly configured 3rd District in the state’s November election.

“These forums help us to learn how both of these candidates view important issues that affect our parish,” Chamber President Donna Meyer said. “This is an opportunity for voters to meet and greet candidates and discuss the challenges facing our parish.”

Sponsors for the event are Franklin Republican Women and AT&T. Tickets are $15 per person for chamber members and $20 for non-members.
