Chief Elllis Walker said the bodies of Shantel Alexander, 22, of Marksville and Dontques Martin, 24, of Bunkie were found shot to death in a motel room Friday.
He said police found a handgun next to the man’s body, preliminarily indicating he shot and killed his wife before killing himself.
