The bride-elect is the granddaughter of the late Rev. and Mrs. Harry Burrell and the late Mr. and Mrs. Paul W. Dwyer Jr. She is a graduate of both Franklin Senior High School and LTC Teche Area in New Iberia and is currently attending Nicholls State University. She is employed as an LPN at Maison Du Monde Living Center.
The prospective groom is the son of Everette James Hawk Sr. and Aline Lockett of New Iberia. He is the grandson of the late Jessie Hawk, Sandra Hawk, the late Robert Lockett and Joydell Lockett-Robinson. He is a graduate of West St. Mary High School and is currently employed with International Offshore.
The wedding ceremony will take place Saturday, July 14 at 7 p.m. at The Manor in Cade.
