Callie Steele, 69, a resident of Morgan City and a native of Houma, died Wednesday, March 14, 2012 at Baton Rouge General Medical Center.
Visitation will be Saturday, March 24, at Ephesians Baptist Church from 9 a.m. until funeral at 11 a.m. Burial will follow in the Morgan City Cemetery.
Callie leaves to cherish her memories one daughter, Mrs. Robert (Sylvia) Kemp of Morgan City; one brother, Richard Steele of Houma; two sisters, Olivia Steele and Joyce Parrish, both of Morgan City; a granddaughter; a great nephew she reared; two godchildren; four great grandchildren; and a host of nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.
She was preceded in death by her parents and two sisters.
