Chester Aubert Sr., 65, a native of Terrebonne Parish and resident of Houma, died at 9:13 p.m., Tuesday, February 5, 2013 at Terrebonne General Medical Center.

Visitation will be Wednesday, February 13, from 9 a.m. until funeral time at 11 a.m., at Mt. Pilgrim Baptist Church, located at 4928 North Bayou Black Road in Gibson. Burial will follow in the church cemetery.

He leaves to cherish his memories his wife, Brenda Bellizana Aubert; one son, Chester Aubert Jr. of Roy, Utah; two brothers, John Aubert, Jr. (Betty) and Earl Aubert (Dorothy), both of Houma; three sisters, Rosa Harris (Henry) of Houma, Dorothy Manning (Virgil) of Allen, Texas, and Mary Mchan of Los Angeles, California; three grandchildren, Aliyah, Alexia and D’andre Aubert; two brothers-n-law, Charles Bellizana and Jake Cheavis, both of Gibson; eight sisters-n-law; and a host of relatives and friends.

Chester was preceded in death by his parents.

He was a retired employee of Kelt Oil & Gas Company of Torrance, California and a 1966 Southdown High School alumni.
