Cahtolic Daughters hold Easter egg hunt in Baldwin

CATHOLIC DAUGHTERS of the Americas Court Sacre’ Coeur 2572 held their annual Easter egg hunt for area children on Saturday, March 31 on the Sacred Heart Church grounds in Baldwin. The Knights of Columbus Council 6873 donated two large baskets to the Catholic Daughters for their basket drawings. Basket winners are pictured above with KOC member Willie Charpentier. Sacred Heart parishioners, local merchants, organizations and District Attorney Phil Haney donated money, candy and prizes for the Easter egg hunt. Pictured below are the winners with Rev. Gregory Cormier, Court Sacre’ Coeur chaplain; Rose Mary Charpentier, Easter egg hunt coordinator; Bernice M. Broussard, regent and Willie Charpentier, KOC member. The Court also distributed three food certificates to families for Easter.
