The engagement of Dana Lynn Callahan of Berwick and John “Scotty” Davis Jr. of Centerville is announced. The bride-elect is the daughter of Lennis J. Callahan and the late Joycelyn Cook Callahan of Morgan City.

Grandparents of the future bride are Rita Callahan and the late Yves Callahan of Patterson and the late Allison “Cookie” Cook and the late Isabelle Martin Cook of Morgan City. Ms. Callahan is currently employed with ICS Marine in Morgan City.

Mr. Davis is the son of Susan Azcona Davis of Charenton and John Scott Davis Sr. of Franklin. His grandparents are James Calhoun Azcona and Mary Mitchell Azcona of Rayne and the late Delbert Davis and Shirley Hanagriff Davis of Centerville. He has served in the U.S. Navy aboard the U.S.S. Bataan and is currently employed with Hanagriff’s Machine Shop.

The wedding ceremony will take place at the Patterson Civic Center at 2 p.m. on Saturday, October 22.
