The History Channel is looking for the next "Swamp People" cast.

The show's producers are looking for alligator hunters with at least 50 tags who are licensed to hunt in Louisiana.

They're also casting true swampers, and are looking for any interesting people who live off the land or earn their living in the swamp - unique people that can only be found in the swamps of Louisiana.

If you fit the bill, you're asked to show up for a casting call scheduled for Saturday, July 30, in Deridder.

The open casting call runs from 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. at Cecil's Cajun Kitchen, 120 W. 1st Street. Anyone with questions should email swampcastings3@originalmedia.com.

It's really great.. Even though we didn't get to meet Troy and Jacob because of the crowd, we did get to meet their family.. What wonderful and down to earth people.. The series is a family show with out all of the sex, drugs, and violence.. It shows others than you can live off the land.. Thank you Troy and your family.. We had an excellent day...
