They include:
—The industrial access road from Baker Hughes to Port Road in Morgan City, $1.02 million, funded with an $820,000 state capital outlay grant and $200,000 local match.
—Blevins building improvements, $1 million from bond proceeds.
—Construction of a new animal control building, $495,125, from bond proceeds.
—St. Mary Parish Courthouse, exterior cleaning and waterproofing work, $891,225; windows replacement, $563,394; elevator upgrade and replacement, $681,625; interior improvements and HVAC air box upgrades, $1.55 million; entry canopy modification, $215,525; and boiler replacement, $145,625, all from bond proceeds.
—Whitney building re-roofing and waterproofing, $191,980 from bond proceeds.
—Morgan City Senior Center roof and ceiling replacement, $188,148 with bond proceeds.
—Victoria-Riverside Road, reconstruction and overlay, Phase 1, east from the Jennings Bridge for 2 miles, $825,000.
—Kemper Williams Park improvements, $100,000 in state capital outlay funds.
—Harold J. “Babe” Landry Landfill, cell construction, Phase 2, $8 million, with bond proceeds.
The ordinance also contains various road projects for the 2013-2016 fiscal year, which have not yet been funded.
The parish council will hold a public hearing and then vote on the ordinance during its Dec. 7 meeting.
