Carla Marie Chaisson, born in Morgan City and a resident of Bayou Vista, passed away at her residence on Dec. 22, 2011, at the age of 50.
Carla was devoted to her family and did all she could for them from spending time, listening to their successes and helping them every time they asked. Carla was never too busy. Carla was a hard working lady who enjoyed shopping and playing cards. Carla will be sadly missed by all who knew and loved this wonderful lady.
Carla is survived by her husband, Kirk Chaisson of Bayou Vista; her two daughters, Christy Angeron and her companion Troy Palmature of Morgan City and Alisha Mire and her husband Ricky of Bayou Vista; her son, David Chaisson of New Iberia; her father, C.J. Haase and his wife Mary of Patterson; two sisters, Angela Pearce of Bayou Vista and Cindy Cook and her husband Neal of Patterson; and seven grandchildren, Skilan Gros, Drevin Willis, Olivia Labatut, Lillian Chaisson, Hailey Mire, Hannah Mire and Haven Mire.
Carla was preceded in death by her mother, Rae Ann Haase; and her grandparents.
Visitation will be Monday, Dec. 26, 2011, from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. at Hargrave Funeral Home in Morgan City.
