COURT SACRE’ COEUR 2572 held its monthly meeting on Sept. 1, at 6 p.m., in Legros Hall in Baldwin. The agenda incorporated many ideas and projects for the year. Among a few ideas discussed were the National Education Contest for area students, holiday activities for children in the community and surrounding areas and adopt shut-ins church members. A few projects included food for the needy, support to the Emergency Aid Center in Franklin and other organizations. The Rev. Greg Cormier, chaplain, issued perfect attendance certificates to four members, Kathleen Thibodeaux, Rose Mary Charpentier, Bernice M. Broussard and Ella Bertrand, all above. Court Sacre’ Coeur 2572 invites Catholic women 18 years and older to join their court. Their meetings are held on the fourth Thursday of each month at 6 p.m. in Legros Hall in Baldwin. Their next meeting is Oct. 6, 2011. Please come and see what they are about.
