COURT ASSUMPTION 1672 of Franklin recently asked Court members for donations to purchase supplies to fill Easter baskets for the needy in the community. The Court made 30 Easter baskets for the children of Chez Hope and 13 goodie bags for the moms to make them feel special. They also made 20 Easter bags for the children of families that get assistance from the Emergency Aid Center. The baskets were filled to the brim with stuffed bunnies, sidewalk chalk, coloring books, crayons, bubbles, jump ropes, balls, chocolate bunnies and jellybeans. Pictured from left above are Margaret Hoy, Regent Charlene Blanchard, Cora Bouton and Linda Veitinger.
